Movies of the week 1

Hi guys, I’m starting a new series called Movies of the week. This is a series where I recommend some really nice movies that I think you’ll enjoy.

Our phones have come a long way. Once upon a time, they could only play polyphonic ringtones. Now they’re media machines, handling everything from high resolution photos all the way up to 4K video.

Smartphones now fill the void that only our TVs/DVDs, TVs/Decoders/satellite receivers or laptops used to fill once upon a time. Since our phones follow us every where we go, we tend to spend more and more time with them. From playing games to watching movies or just scrolling through social media to kill time, our phones have got us covered.

Seeing as it is that our Smartphones have become highly capable multimedia devices, Inquisitive Universe has teamed up with Favour Cartel Chukwu to give out a list of five highly entertaining movies once a week. These movies are all mobile friendly and can be enjoyed on any smartphone.

The movies

1. Paper Tigers (2021)

Three childhood kung fu prodigies have grown into washed-up, middle-aged men—now one kick away from pulling their hamstrings. But when their master is murdered, they must juggle their dead-end jobs, dad duties, and overcome old grudges to avenge his death. (Wikipedia).

2. Favorite son (2021)

If you’re into church drama, then this is for you. Favourite son tells the story of brothers in a gospel group, struggling to find the balance between life, love, faith and religion. They have to do this under the strict rule of their father who is the reverend of a megachurch.

3. Justice Society World War II (2021)

This one is for fans of animated movies. The Justice Society of America, a group of heroes aiding the allies in World War 2, makes an ally from the future who sends them on a history-changing adventure (IMDb)

4. Sir Alex Ferguson: Never give in

The fourth movie on our list is a biography/documentary combo that does a detailed take at the life and career of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. This movie was directed by his son Jason Ferguson, so you can sure that this is the real deal.

5. Fearless Kung Fu King (2020)

Finally, we have got one for the lovers of Chinese martial arts (Kung Fu) movies. This story is about a man named Huo Yuanjia and his transformational journey from a selfish power hungry martial arts expert, to a man who put his people before his personal selfish interests.
